Salvation
How Can I Be Saved? Why Do I Need to Be Saved?

The Bible tells us that everyone has sinned — it’s something we’re all born with and something we all choose (Romans 3:23; Psalm 51:5; Ecclesiastes 7:20; 1 John 1:8).
Sin is what separates us from God. It's what keeps us spiritually lost and puts us on the path toward eternal judgment.

Saved from What?

Because of sin, we deserve death — not just physical death, but spiritual death as well (Romans 6:23).
Sin is rebellion against an eternal and holy God (Psalm 51:4), and so the punishment is also eternal.
That means we need to be saved from eternal separation from God — the Bible calls this eternal destruction (Matthew 25:46; Revelation 20:15).

How Did God Provide Salvation?

We couldn't save ourselves — the penalty for sin is too great.
But God made a way. He became human in the person of Jesus Christ.
Jesus lived a perfect life and then willingly died in our place (John 10:15).
Because He was fully human, He could die. Because He was fully God, His death had infinite value.
His sacrifice was the full and final payment for our sin (1 John 2:2).
And when He rose from the dead, He proved that the price had been paid in full — and that eternal life is real.

What Must I Do to Be Saved?

The Bible makes it clear:
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31)

You don’t earn salvation by being good enough or doing enough.
God has already done everything needed — through Jesus.
All that’s left is for you to respond.
Trust in Jesus Christ alone to save you. Believe that His death paid for your sin and that He rose again. When you do, you are forgiven, made new, and saved forever (John 3:16; Ephesians 2:8–9; John 14:6).
